Hello current, former, and future Hoyas!

I'm Tucker, a Senior in the MSB majoring in Finance and Accounting. I'm originally from Nashville and am moving to New York after graduation. On campus, I'm a member of the Lightweight Crew team and the GUSA Executive.

As a rower, I get to see Georgetown around the clock, from 6am when I head to the boathouse as employees start arriving on campus to late nights in Lau with my classmates. My work in GUSA focuses on unrecognized student groups and I also sit on the general executive meetings, both of which give me a great perspective on what's going on in all pockets of campus.

Some of my favorite things to do in the DC area are

  • Running the C&O Canal
  • Going to Nationals games in the Navy Yard and Georgetown basketball games at the Verizon Center
  • Attending concerts
  • Being a proud SEAL (Senior Eating At Leo’s)
  • Going to Country Night at the Tombs
  • Making the occasional run to northern Virginia for Chick-fil-a

The students, teachers and staff we have here are diverse, well-rounded, hardworking and infinitely interesting. The best thing about my Georgetown experience so far has been the opportunity to get to know so many of them from different areas of campus that don't always see interaction. So follow my story to experience a little bit of everything around Georgetown. Hoya Saxa!
