Maggie (COL'18)

Hi everyone! My name is Maggie and I am a senior in the College (woo Class of 2018!), majoring in American Studies. When I'm not at school in here Washington, DC, I'm typically back home in Warwick, Rhode Island. Although I really do love living in DC and exploring all the opportunities the city has to offer, I have to admit I miss seeing the ocean every day. Here on the Hilltop, you can find me grilling in Red Square every Friday in the fall and spring with the Georgetown University Grilling Society (GUGS), cheering on our sports teams with Hoya Blue, and organizing weekly mentorship meetings as co-coordinator of the Cornerstone Initiative, which is in its second year as a program for new Hoyas. I also served three years as a first-year orientation advisor for New Student Orientation, and I am the Rhode Island state chair for the GeorgetownAdmissions Ambassador Program (GAAP). When I'm not in class or doing one of these on-campus activities, you can find me exploring different farmers markets, running or sitting by the waterfront, and trying a bunch of new restaurants. I am so excited to share my year with you at 37th & hOme!
