Luis (SFS'18)

What is a Luis?

Hi there! My name is Luis, some call me Lewis, other Louie -- I will respectfully respond to any. I’m a Junior in the SFS, majoring in International Politics and minoring in Arabic. I’m a Salvadoran-Honduran born in Los Angeles, but now reside in Noblesville, IN!

I am an obsessed lvoer of 2Pac, dark chocolate, the LA Lakers (and Kobe, of course), "2-week" challenges, flags of the world, soccer, public speaking, the occasional two-step dance, and smiles. Smiles are always good.

Don’t worry, I’m not very athletic -- it’s more of my desire to watch the sunrise over the Washington Monument that drives me to wake up at 6:00 am. Anyone is welcome to join!

Additionally, I have remained an active member throughout the Center for Social Justice from working at DC Schools Project, Alternative Breaks, and service days. I also participate and lead retreats with Campus Ministry, and am a proud member of the Georgetown Scholarship Program (#GSProud)!

I am honored to represent Georgetown University and have the chance o showcase all the amazing people and opportunities that live within it. My daily life on the Hilltop is constantly influenced by the incredible people on campus, and I plan to showcase that through my work here. TUNE IN!
